WiFi connected sound sculpture, 2017
+12V, +3.3V, self-supplied
Utilizing the WiFi capabilities of the ESP8266 microcontroller, this sculpture works in conjunction with the other two ES-prefixed sculptures. Each sculpture has two square wave oscillators feeding the inputs of a NOR-gate, of which the resulting data signal is being sent as an OSC-message to the listening ports of the other sculptures. The audio coming out of the speaker is the sonification of the various data signals being sent across the network.
