Inspired by the late Dutch composer Jan Boerman, boeran quaver is an attempt at recreating his fragile and tremblant soundscapes through a real-time stochastic algorithm. The sculpture essentially contains four voices, three of them represented by a separate color in the RGB light pipes, and the remaining voice through the antenna-like light pipe at the top.
