Carrying the customer’s logo — a variation on the ‘space invader’ — limbed fields is a hybrid sound and light sculpture featuring two analog and three digital voices, based respectively on the 33xx analog chip family and the Daisy Seed platform. It has two distinct modes — one harmonic and one rhythmical — which can be selected prior to booting up the circuitry. Additionally, the sculpture includes two channels of RGB light pipes which mirror the amplitude of the two analog voices, alongside two sets of white LEDs mounted on either side of the structure, tracing the sequencer patterns that drive the algorithmic composition. While fitted with a solitary speaker and passive radiator setup, the sculpture also provides two line outputs for stereo playback.
